CONSTRUCTION SKILLS BOOTCAMP OVERVIEW

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• 17 years of age or older

• Ready to work in the construction industry

• Pass a drug screening

• Legally allowed to work in the US

PROGRAM COSTS

Our program is FREE to anyone pursuing a career in construction in Alabama. We provide all of the tools and equipment needed to complete the course.

Course Overview

SAFETY CERTIFICATION

Learn proper safety procedures needed to work on a professional job site.

Students can earn a 6-hour HBAA Safety 6 worksite safety certification.

BASIC SKILLS

NAHA students spend 9 class sessions learning basic skills and equipment frequently used on a residential construction site. Skills learned may include:

TRADE SPECIFIC TRAINING

NAHA students can currently focus on Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, or Plumbing.

Students will spend 5 classes focused on learning entry level knowledge and skills in a trade area of their choosing.
